Had been trying to get out of a really long art rut. Realized I hated art because it's inherently pointless and I hate everything I draw because it's stupid stiff and lifeless.
Well, instead of just sitting around wallowing in nihilistic depression I figured to just force drawing anything random. No structure, no rules, just try to get some sort of energy to it.
So here's a sketch dump, including my favourite minion in the game.

Are you my professor? All seriousness aside, I know how you feel, I remember when I've hated my art for the same reasons. But it's definitely not easy going through that, still I feel like you got the right idea. No rules, no structure, no care. Just drawing with no real particular expectations yet it's somehow spontaneous.

I'm not saying this is what I did to get out of my rut, (because it is,) but I hope something positive will come out of it for you too! I do personally think your art looks good. And I can see some of that aforementioned energy seeping through. (Bottom-right for example.)

Also, you know how to draw an adorable dodo and that's always a win in my book. /hug dodo
