Let's talk about the Libra Eorzea App

I like all your ideas in the post, but I think this app should be separate from the Libra Eorzea App because Id hate for it to get cluttered. Also before anything like this can be added all the stuff there already needs more detail how to obtain, I had to used google to find out where I can trade my ticket things in at for 2 month subscription reward. Only to find a link to these forums stating that it got removed by accident with the patch lol.

No, it is an MMO for Wii, WiiU and PC. We did have a collaboration event with it a few months ago. Puff puff.

Sorry, I meant the app . I did a quick google and it looked like it was a 3DS companion app for the game on the consoles and PC.

Ventures. We've recently got access to the retainer venture system. How cool would it be to access your retainers from the app, assigning them missions when you can't log into the game. I'm on my lunch break at work, my retainers have returned... if only I could use the app to check up on them.

I brought this up a week or two ago and still think this is something that really needs to be added to LE.

I think though for the app to interact with the game, it would need to be a paid feature. That's a lot to ask of a free app, in my opinion. Also, can all smartphones use LE? If not, I think this would need to be prioritized.

WoW Armoury is a free smartphone app that allowed you to chat with your guild, browse the AH, search for specific items and where they drop, browse your characters, and check upcoming events. It doesn't have to be a paid feature, although WoW Armoury was an additional fee to your sub when it first launched, now no longer the case.

It even updates your character data much faster then the current Lodestone does

I use the on-website version of the Eorzea Database to look up images of what gear I'm unfamiliar with looks like, so I'd love for gear images posted there to somehow link into the app to be visible. Otherwise I've not found it really worth using the app over the site itself.
