i feel a lot of it too is that the trolls are even starting to give up on this game. You should almost be wishing trolls were here honestly lol.

all trolled out.

People say the same thing on the FFXI forums -- It's pretty easy to make a ghost account/mule with level 1 rank and just link that.
This has nothing to do with it, this community is already the pits in general with or without trolls -- just wait till SE announces a new piece of information on lodestone, the forums degrade into pointless better and mud slinging lol.

Expect them to return for updates and big announcements.

because it's an ID for trolling
Not linking their mains because then they'll be ridiculed and discredited for not having five R50 classes. Or something circular logic to justify using their mules.

I don't post much any more because I can barely bring myself to play at all lately. I've fast been losing interest in the game over the past month or so. A few main reasons.
The server population must be down to the double digits now on Wutai. This means almost nothing will sell in the market wards and if you're not online at least once per hour to relist all your items (a huge chore in itself) you don't have any hope of selling because of undercutters. This takes the motivation to craft and gather away. I'd no interest in levelling another battle class either until they announce which class gets which job.
Watching half the people I've known and played with over the past 6 months quit, more and more every month to the point where my linkshell now is almost a completely different set of people than it was in January. There's no reason to get to know people because chances are they'll be quitting next.
The butchering of auto attack implementation for archers has killed any interest I had in patch 1.18 so it's wait wait wait for 1.19 and hope that has some nice things.
The delay after delay for the patch itself is also contributing. It's evident that the development team for this game must be in the single digits. I mean since they announced redevelopment in January what have they done? Do you really think auto attack should take 7 months to implement? Hell no. It's evident they only have one person working on the battle system.
It's quite clear that when SE realised the game was a fail they gave it a minimal team to keep it going and try improve it to cash in on PS3 sales. Yoshi might have nice visions for the game but in reality it's not going to happen fast enough to save the game. The game will always be behind other MMOs playing catch up.
One thing SE are good at however is talking things up to keep you waiting. I remember back in like February in an interview where they said they were hoping to implement two patches for the battle system in the next few months. Sure an earthquake hit, but that delayed development by no more than three weeks. In reality we won't see 1.18 until near the end of July and 1.19 at the end of September.
Would you still be playing if you knew in September that the game would still be pretty much the same (minus lag) in July? The content they've added is irrelevant. The NMs were so bad they became obsolete within a week due to their drop and spawn rates and the quests were slaughtered by everyone. Other changes? Where? UI is still the same, crafting is still the same. Only major visible changes are to the market wards.
I'm starting to wish the game would fail so I can justify quitting.

Dr. Rau to the rescue lol. My main is 38 with PL 48. I couldn't care less what people have to say about my levels. It's irrelevant and nobody's business.
