Thread: What ive gathered so far from 2.2

Coming from a server like mine (Malboro) you don't tend to get a chance to run any form of content unless youve got a static group or you want to take the chances of PF/DF.
But all i have gathered is how completely toxic some of the community can be on this game, i remember in BETA the toxicity levels were nowhere near as high and we had D/c's everyday. now if you screw up an attack or dodge you're considered to be blacklisted. some guy right now in the PF is stating mess up once on titan ex and youre getting a kick, people giving abuse due to coil loot and runs. i got a hurl of abuse because i won the healer role in T4.
how can a community grow if it keeps descending. especially with people wanting Levi ex and wanting it first try, or T5 to progress further but get frowned upon because it wasnt done prior 2.2. heck i even just got booted from a pf which we almost got levi ex killed (20% or so) just to replace us with FC members

It all changed during Open Beta/Official Release.

On topic, make some friends because people have no incentive to change. You're better off sticking with people you're cool with, not randos that flip out over the smallest things.

thats the thing, ive met plenty of people throughout who can run the content, just unfortunate knowing a lot of these people will penalise those of which have one item lower than their predicted ilvl requirement for specific instances. heck i saw someone refuse an i75 into T1 because he thought he'd wipe the raid when he was a BRD.

I have to admit I've done this before. Not that I'm ever rude to anyone, but I did a couple of times have someone kicked from the party to accomodate a friend. I know it will come back and haunt me some day, but I just don't want to leave a buddy behind..

How about reporting abusive behaviour for once?

Actually the same stuff happen on Ragnarok. I don't often open the party finder tool but when I do I see all kind of crap in the comments (like people who lock gear on coil PU groups or w/e content, writing awful comment for extreme primals....).

I've been playing MMORPG since 2006 (FFXI, wow, GW2, Aion and FFXIV) and it's the first time I see these type of behavior. It's something which is quite recent and I don't really know where it s coming from (or why).
