Oh how I hate the extreme mode.
Oh how I hate that you have to do it in order to do Levi EX.

Shame because Levi EX is much easier. heh
Been years since using this forum. @_@
I beat him today. it's more a point of perseverence to find 7 other players that know the fight than actually executing it.
but gating content the way theyve done with ex primals and new coil turns is still stupid. a LOT of players will get left behind if they dont drop that requirement soon.
They've made it so all the players can effectively play with gear beyond the level of those of us who earned it at the old content cap. I don't think they need to drop the requirement - people just need to play better.I beat him today. it's more a point of perseverence to find 7 other players that know the fight than actually executing it.

Did a learning pt last night, got the fight pattern in 3 fights...not so much for everyone else. So today I joined an "Experienced only" Titan ex pt.....I was usually the last alive, some people even died on the first set of plumes -.-
Not trying to sound elitist, but how hard is it to group up, then move out for slide/plumes? You literally have like 2 buttons to press.
im not asking for handouts. people will still wipe if they don't have a clue. just let them wipe at something new for a change.
2.2 is virtually just a big carrot for many people in my fc. content should be available to everyone (not the same as beatable). personally, i also think the buffs are a completely wrong way to get people to play "right".
Rabits rabits rabits rabits rabits rabits rabits rabits rabits... ... ... Rabits rabits rabits rabits rabits rabits.
+1 to anyone who gets that reference :/ lol.
Titan EX has been and will remain to be (at least till something else comes along, maybe first expo) the first MAJOR content hurdle that people face. And I mean MAJOR garuda is hard but the general consensus is not as hard as Titan EX. You are not alone in your suffering. While I may have cleared all the EX primals my free company (and even my FC static coil group) has yet to best him.
Titan EX has little room for error while the other extremes you can get hit but stuff and not die
( ' ')/\(' ' )
I still haven't been able to get past titan extreme. The 2 main additions in 2.2 are locked to a large potion of this games playerbase. Can't do Leviathan ex or new coil because they're locked behind titan and twintania. The problem with titan is post heart. Every party I've tried it with like half the people die on the first set of bombs. Trying to avoid bombs and landslides is too much for most players apparently. I'll probably get to try Leviathan and the next coil around patch 2.4 or so.
I find Titan extreme easy because there's a lot of structure. For example, Titan hard most people just ran around putting plumes wherever they feel like, whereas extreme everything is placed in one spot or in two during double plume.
There's a lot you can do if you're having trouble with extreme mode:
- If you don't have the best memory in the world, put aside some time to study exactly where you need to be until you're 100% confident.
- Create a group where you will kick or reform if there are people dying.
- If you have latency issues, look into programs that will help you get over them such as Pigzapper. Pingzapper actually has a free trial. You'll be disconnected every hour, but one hour is more than enough to clear titan extreme.
- Join a linkshell for extreme modes. I'm in one and there's always someone 1-shot farming them.
- If you can't find a linkshell, join a FC that can and will clear it for you. If you preform well, they may invite you to help other people in the FC.
