Ok so we just assume that every patch is a kind of reset, i-e every bit of work that has been achieved since last patch is delivered?

I'm not saying it's not the case, I have no idea, but I sure hope that there are some unrelated work in progress on the longer term even when they are working on a specific patch, like expansions, new zones, character style etc.
