The 3 Star Crafting Rotations - General Compilation

As a community, we have created a lot... I mean a LOT of crafting rotations for 3 star items in a little under a week now.
However I think that we have reached a point where we cannot min-max them much more. There is a limit to how much CP one can have, and how many actions you can fit into 80 durability.
As such, I want to present 3 rotations that seem to be more or less the most optimized for their level of RNG.
A small note. *'s indicate actions after which you can safely use ToT. Sections that have [...Once...] next to them indicate that you can use ToT ONCE during this set of actions without messing up the rotation.
    And here we go:

    Discussion:
Rotations 1 and 2 are primarily RNG based, but also have the highest potential quality output, depending on how many HT's succeed, or how many times you can use ToT and replace an HT with a BT.
Rotation 2 simply trades 1 80% HT for 2 50%'s, this is HIGHLY susceptible to RNG, but also has the possibility of giving you a 9 IQ BB... which should practically get you to 100% from almost 0... Looking at you Terminus Putty...
Rotation 3 is more for finished products. It has considerably less RNG than the other 2, and will almost certainly get you to 100% if you start with a mostly HQ components.

Perhaps when they add new crafting gear, or a new CP food so enable us to reach 400 CP, then we can replace the one HT in Rotation 3 and just call that the "almost 100% HQ from HQ mats" rotation for 3 star recipes. Until then, we will have to deal with at least some amount of RNG in our crafting lives.

My rotation is 8*80% hasty plus 2*50% hasty (8.4 expected inner stacks) or 9*80% hasty plus 1*50% hasty (8.7 expected inner stacks) depends on when ToT happens. If I full meld the off hand/body to get craftmanship high enough I can improve that to 10*80% hasty (9 expected inner stacks).

I will share this rotation when 3-stars get under cut enough on my server.

I look forward to seeing that when you do (sharing, that is). I'm guessing there's quite a bit of Waste Not involved for you to fit 10 touches.

Out of curiosity, how do your off-hand melds look?

Pretty cheap one as my FC give me double buff for the 1st week (ty for them as I am the only crafter who need it in the FC). Body is control +5, offhand is craftman + 11, CP +3
I will meld the body later in order to use 1 FC buff for control only (so other members can get their exp/SB buff back). I may cap the offhand when materias are cheaper in the future.

In rotation #2, it is not safe to use Tricks of the Trade after Waste Not II. Your item would break.

What about for people that don't have pbp? What is a good way to utilize Rapid Synthesis?

I have 389 CP (with food) 401 craftsmanship and 374 control with no FC buffs.

TBH you want to avoid Rapid Synthesis like the plague.
At the craftsmanship requirement, Rapid should do about 145-146 progress under Ing2. That is a bit over 3 successful Rapid Synths to finish.
The issue is that Rapid must be done under Ing2, but you also want to do BB under Ing2, but you have to do BB at the end, but dont want to do a non-guaranteed progress action at the end...
The workaround would be to do Ing2 at the beginning, do 3 Rapids, and if all 3 land, continue, the Ing2 again for BB, and finish with a CS2.
If all 3 dont land, Reclaim.

It boils down to this. You can do 4 actions, 3 of them are 80%, and do an extra Ing2 for 32 CP, and have a 51.2% chance that ALL 3 will succeed. Or you can do 5 actions without the extra Ing2, and they will ALWAYS succeed.
Save 1 turn, 50/50 shot of botching a 3 star synth potentially worth 300k+ in mats alone... Or just grind up Armorer and know you will succeed.
