question about zodiac please

so i found this guide n was confused about the book section of it

does that mean u need 4500 tomes and finish everything in all 3 books to get the weapon? or is the book section just to improve the stats?

When you get your 12 atma items, you turn your Zenith relic into an Atma relic. It keeps the same stats as the Zenith, and has its iLevel raised to 100.

You then need 13,500 tomes to purchase all 9 books. Each book you finish increases its associated stat on your Atma relic. When all 9 books are finished, you go back to Jalzahn and he will upgrade your Atma to an Animus.

All the tomes needed means only a sane person would do this for 1 job. All my other jobs are on hold now because of this tome requirement.

i agree lolz prolly would take me a year+ since i have to take breaks once in a while due to work n stuff lol

Bad enough you have to farm fates with A random/lucky factor (Reminds me of free to play) and now you have to do the dungeons until your hands fall off? And people wonder why pay to win and auction houses seem favourable.

Because doing the same thing over and over again for months is some sort of indication of how good a player you are I suppose.

Basically, grinds like this exist to pander to the 'achievers' and their sense of superiority.

personally i like the challenge of how long/hard it will take, the harder somethin is to get the more satisfaction u get from obtaining it XD
