I do not understand the obsession with wanting this SO FAST. I dedicate an hour or two daily only for this grind, and therefore I don't drive myself mad over it. Yes I only got one drop since this started, but I'm not going to waste hours of my day grinding for something that I already know is RNG dependant, its just maddening and I'd rather take it slow and whatever happens happens.

they coulda just added the fate grind without rng to the tomes themselves, they are already grind oriented. like coulda made it 12 tomes instead and had them need x amount of fates from each zone 20 30 40 50 100 doesn't matter just a "set" number, this would then give you the atma from said zone that you would have then done the 100 mob kills to "bind" to the weapon and get the stat increase etc.
the complaint with the rng issue is that your at its mercy before you can even start the actual quest.

Do kinda agree with post above though, sunday/monday I was about to put my fist through my monitor because of this and had nothing to show for it and the previous days, and since then, ive done 2-4 hours ish tops a day and while im still not done least my sanity is intact :P (realize 4 hours is by no means "a little" but i just mean sometimes its best to just log out and forget about it >.> )

Nobody is saying they want it fast!

You are clearly not paying attention to anything anyone is saying, at all. Nobody is saying it should be easy or fast, we're saying it should be equal. As in, the quest should take about the same amount of time for everyone to complete. As it stands now, a guy I know and I have both been grinding FATEs for the same amount of time. He has 3 Atma weapons and is working on his 4th. I have one Atma drop (as in 1/12 of the way to my first upgrade). We've both been doing FATEs about 26 hours. By my estimation, he got his WAY TOO FAST, whereas I think mine might possibly be a little too slow.

Pettion for Square to change the atma requirement from a 2.5% drop drate to complete 50 fates in that zone.
