i can already say tons of people would buy them. and by association, tons of people would have accounts banned for RMT because the price would be jacked to all hell on those things.

Which is exactly why we have to farm atma like this, and with this low drop rate.

Gil sellers would most likely dominate this market and you'll have teleporting bots flying around the world attempting to complete all the FATEs before your mount can get there.

And as someone said, people may use RMT currencies to purchase Atma for one or more weapons.

Would I sell (or trade) Atma pieces to other players? Yes. Especially triplicates (only interested in two relics at this time).

If people are willing to pay like 200k for an Atma crystal, I'd sell them all till the demand went down. Although its easy to say that, I probably wouldn't be grinding FATEs for 5 hours in a zone trying to get a crystal if the only motivation was gil.
