Problem with Titan Ex

I am at the moment stuck at Titan ex. And the problem is the fight is so annoying that people who already did it dont want/need to do it anymore. The result is you are stuck with few people who still didnt beat it and I have been trying for 2 weeks non stop to win it in PUG with no luck. And lets face it the Echo doesn't solve anything as this fight is only based on dodging.

This wouldn't be a problem if titan wasn't required for ifrit which is required to do all the new stuff (King mogle ex and levi ex).

As i refuse to do atmas at this moment I feel like I am in a dead end and the game is losing interest for me right now.

Am I the only one feeling like old primals shouldn't be required for the new stuff as they now present no interest for people who already did them and there are now not enough people willing to do em ?

Im having similar experiences, "2 deatsh and kick" or "only exp people" are always the requirements lately for Titan Ex.

Ive watch a vid on Youtube a few times but I need this also to do Ifrit and Levi, so I find myself logging in to send retainers out and check the marketplace.

Might have to go all ninja and just join the group anyway, 50/50 chance someone will die before me anyway.

Could always shout for a paid run and be like "one of those people". Or try to gather a group of people via shout that wont quit after 1 wipe and willing to learn. Your FC or linkshells won't help you?

Other problem is for people like who, whatever they do, will still have some lag spikes. And in Titan Ex, it means death. I tried ethernet cable, Battle ping, etc... Still the same.

Why should they not require you to beat the old primals before doing the new stuffs? If you're that anti-social to get to know good players from Party Finder then well, you're out of luck. How do you think people beat it in the first place? They join PF, get to know good players that can dodge crap and then make their own party for the win. They just don't wait and hope to join people that already cleared to get the clear themselves.

You are right I guess I'll have to put more dedication in finding people willing to do it and knowing how to do it. But there is still the fact that there are now few people who need/want to do Titan, making it harder to find the good people.

be more social, make friends, form a static, use party finder and form your own learning group. Even the people who have downed it used these methods and put in alot of time or had a static group of friends who they are really comfortable playing with.

I knew this was coming, i mention before release that echo maybe able to carry alot through HM primals/Garuda EX, but no echo buff will save anyone if they fail to dodge plumes/LS.

Actually with a full Echo buff it may be advantageous to NOT stack on plumes since unless you're grossly undergeared you should easily survive a single plume on any job. Not much you can do with a Landslide though. What's been getting me lately though is groups that despite a full Echo buff STILL can't break a gaol in time or push heart phase at or before the circle bomb drop. How do you fail to do with a 20% buff what many groups could do with NO buff? Echo is breeding complacency.
