    Where is the FFXIV STF?

I know a lot of people talk about bots and roving groups of lala RMTs and such. Hell ive seen em too. And far too frequently. Then I started a new char on new server and was looking on the internet for good selling mats, as I hate crraft and gathering classes. And what do I find? Random web pages and discussion boards openly talking about buying gil. So that got me thinking just how rampant and wide spread has buying gil become? Its so easy to make gil in this game I dont understand why people would bother. Maybe thats some of the problem. People are so bored and have nothing to spend gil on so they fuel RMT sites by selling their millions? This all seems a bit out of control to me, especially since SE was so hard on it in ffxi. So did negative feedback make them reduce efforts, are they relying too much on automated systems and players, are their methods in ffxiv not working, or is STF on vacation til the game is charging money?

My name is a killing word.
(Seriously: "Caerith" was a forbidden name when I signed up on the forums.)

I dont get why RMTs bother botting in this game when there is bound to be several games they could bot in and actually make a good profit. is there actually someone buying gil?

I have 8 crafts at 50. All I did was watch T.V. and spam standard for easy mode synths. Enjoy leveling those crafts in 1.19 and beyond everyone!

RMT wouldn't hang out selling gil if there wasn't a market for it. How do you feel knowing that someone, or someones, on your server buys enough gil to support an RMT network?

i have a feeling they are making a list of who is botting and will be banning them once the server population picks back up. i dread thinking of how many on my server are botting and how empty it would be if they did ban them all at once. it wouldn't be as bad after we had more people in the server, but i just don't think it'd help the game now to ban them.

please, don't take me as supporting them at all as i hope each one is banned and loses everything they bought or sold. i just would hate to see how empty the servers would be with a huge amount more people gone. granted, this is also without me actually knowing who is botting and who is legit so i have no idea of how many would be banned, but i have a feeling it'd be alot of them.

    the real info
The stf for ffxiv is down till the battle changes are fully put into place. They did this because they do not want to be held liable since essensially the battle rules will get changed.

So far the ffxi team help on emergencies only. Meaning if enoyugh people report the bot they will look into it. If only a few ppl report the bot. They will not see a need for it.

Also it is really a case by case thing since some people who others claim are bots are not really bots.

hmmm, i'm just curious where you got this info since i have reported bots recently and seen them gone within minutes lately?

i reported them to the group you are claiming is down. i believe they are getting lists together and checking in on the claimed botters and getting more info on them and only taking care of them if they are too obvious. i just have a feeling they will be taking out a mass group of botters at once once the populations pick back up because they fear another massive drop at this point.
