I don't intend to 0 gil undercut. I list my item at the same price because I DON'T want to undercut at all... i just don't want to be undercut either. I also try to list from a different city then other sellers so buyers can choose to pay less in fees.

The main issue here is someone is failing to control the market. If an item sells at 6k but everyone is listing it at 1.5k, buy them all and resell at 7k. If the item is only obtainable by crafting, buy up all the cheaper items involved in crafting it and attempt to control the supply. Eventually someone WILL undercut you, but when they do you have a few options: 1. Buy them out. 2. Naturally deflate the price to where it belongs (6k) 3. Sell goods in lower quantities.

If you're crafting what you're selling and are also buying it from everyone else, you shouldn't have much trouble obtaining market dominance.
Just like prices can drop 75% in 4 hours, they can rise 300% in five minutes.
