Another Millioncorn + Pixie Plum + Apricot garden with no results today. Last one will be ready by tomorrow, I'm guessing.

One single Jute, and One single glazenut ; ; both from ventures. Also confirm its not apricot millioncorn plum combo for glazenut seeds.

Used Grade 3 Shroud soil on both the glazenut and the jute. It had no effect.

Testing if it actually needs to be adjacent.

So, after 4 harvest, it seems like adjacent matters to produce seeds.
Granted, 4 test plots isn't a large number, but it is following the same trends. That is the one which has an adjacent plant of a different type will produce a seed.

Did you ever stop to think that you're taking the word "adjacent" too literally? Why would the 2x3 patch allow for better intercross potential than the large?

I'll test the Oblong gardens later.

According to the spreadsheet, Dzemael Tomato & Honey Lemon make Apricot Kernels. Arrangement was predictable:

I got one Apricot Kernel from harvesting all eight, and harvested the Tomatoes first as suggested. The Apricot Kernel came from one of the Lemon plants. Friend in a neighbouring FC planted just the one Lemon and Pineapple and got an Apricot Kernel from the Lemon. I have now planted the same arrangement above but replacing the tomatoes with Prickly Pineapples. Let's see if it's any better.

And for anyone curious about Dalamud Popotos, I planted two seeds: one with Yield, one with Quality. I harvested 10 NQ on both plants this morning.

I got the Dalamud Popoto seeds from planting an arragement of Midland Cabbage, Dzemael Tomatoes and Mandrakes in the following (T = Tomato, M = Mandrake, C = Cabbage):

So that all four Tomato seeds had a neighbouring Mandrake and Cabbage. Both Dalamud Popoto seeds came from a Tomato.

Not sure if any of this is useful, but having scoured this thread I thought I'd share. Maybe somebody has some luck?

Well I just harvested 3 bags of Azeyma Rose seeds from planting Chamomile and Almonds:

Fyi the Azeyma Rose seeds were from the Almonds and the Chamomile yielded nothing but flowers. Also I am extremely happy :P

The alternating lavender/camomile planting was incredibly unsuccessful, despite the usual Grade 3 Thanalan soil. I got one bag out of linseed out of the whole bed, that was it.

I'm trying for apricot kernels next, mostly as that's the seed I have on hand right now. Going to try and replicate YunieAura's results from here and see if you can consistently get them from an almond/pineapple/honey lemon combo or if the other plants in the bed really do matter.

Today I harvested 4x Honey Lemon and 4x Prickly Pineapple in alternating plots like so:

Each Honey Lemon harvested produced an Apricot Kernel, the Pineapples produced no new seeds. Whilst I wouldn't say this is 'proof', it does coincide with just about everyone else's experiences. I would safely assume this is a very reliable way of getting Apricot Kernels. On the other hand, as with Lyra Eirstar above, I haven't had much luck with Millioncorn / Pixie Plum / Apricot Kernels. In this setup (Apricot = A, Millioncorn = M and Plums = P, obviously.)

On this occasion it has not yielded any Glazenuts, and on the occasion before, with the millioncorn and the pixie plums swapped I also didn't get any Glazenuts. This makes it three occasions in total without any Glazenut Seeds; I too am beginning to think we need Deluxe Seeds (Royal Kukuru) to grow Glazenut Seeds. Shame.

Slightly differing results with my patch, I got my apricot kernels from an almond + honey lemon cross, though there was a prickly pineapple planted elsewhere and it wasn't consistent, as my other almond + honey lemon combo got me almond seeds.
