All right, so...

I left one of mine in the twinkling ripe stage for about 1-3 days because I planted some stuff around it a little late and wanted to include it in the crossbreeding process. I logged on one day to find it completely dead and not salvageable at all. [SIZE=1]My poor apricot plant....

@Percyphanie - gardening's actually pretty effortless once you've gone to the initial trouble of actually finding the godsdamned bloody hidden seeds and soil because after that point you can make your retainers go fetch them for you and you have a week to gather it all in between plantings. Grade 3 soil is actually the easiest to get because it's from unspoiled nodes so you just have to go pick it up when the time is right, rather than spending ages waiting for a hidden Grade 2 or 1 to pop up.

when gathering soil and seeds you only have to click on the rock / bush to see if its there, if not move onto the next, no need to harvest anything else as the nodes respawn even if you don't harvest, takes minutes to get the soil and seeds you need

and you used Grade 3 Thanalan Topsoil?

Just a theory, but..., it could also be just be crossbreeding with all plants in the bed instead of adjacent plot plants.

Because if you look at some of the other plots it supports different number of adjacent plants.
Round Garden Patch (2x2) supports a 2 adjacent planting pattern; straight and L-shapes
Oblong Garden Patch (2x3) supports a 2 and 3 adjacent planting pattern; straight, L-shapes and T-shapes
Deluxe Garden Patch (3x3 w/scarecrow in middle grid) supports a 2 adjacent planting pattern; straight and L-shapes



Just to clarify, adjacent patterns I'm considering
straight pattern means rows or columns,
L-shapes are the corners of the garden,
T-shapes, which can only be supported with the 2x3, is middle of the garden.

If it's by adjacent, it would mean the Oblong Garden Patch would better support crossbreeding, with the T-shape providing 3 adjacent plotted plants.

Camate and development team.... its been over 3 weeks since release and you make the glazenut required for so many crafts including crafting tables which are useless to lvl 50 crafters anyhow so why not toss us a hint on this so elusive seed recipe???

The main reason that it is taking so long is because first you need intercrossed seeds (most likely) to even attempt to make a combination at making glazenuts. The rarest seeds take almost a week each to grow. I can tell you now that either the chance of getting them from the first posted combination is VERY low or completely incorrect information. So for many FC's that was two weeks of wasted time. At least one currently growing combination should produce glazenuts now so come the end this week we should have at least one combination for every seed figured out. So considering the past week or so was basically a wash and this is the "real" third week of the masses figuring out the last undiscovered seed that really isn't too bad in my opinion.
