Ah, but will facing north-by-northeast at 2:45 a.m. while the moon is a waning crescent result in a 27% increase in your chances to synthesize HQ mythril ingots!? That is real the question! ~Fernehalwes~
Hide sig. Problem solved. Did that my first day here.
That's just an HTTP authentication pop-up to xivpads. They password protected something the signature causes browser to access, but can't without the login credentials. Chrome doesn't get the pop-up.
It is not a scam attempt, but can easily be seen as such, given the curcumstances.
If I had to guess, their site is borked(via April 1st or otherwise) so that the asset paths for the images is in a restricted part of the site. To be on the safe side though, you can use adblock to nuke it with this filter: |http://xivpads.com/*
Greetings,
Until this issue is addressed, please note that our GM team may remove signatures that point to the above domain until the problem has been resolved.
Once the issue is fixed, you can add your signature back once more.

If you are using Firefox, use RIP (remove it permanently). Used this trick for the WoW/Diablo forums when people would post malicious script. You can right click it, then RIP it from all pages.
This was resolved, we had some problems with the authentication.
Cheers
Any signature code that has the potential to allow popups on this forum of any kind should be banned instantly as it could be used as a way for 'hackers' to steal NCsoft log in info. Whatever feature of the forum software that allows this should be disabled.
