PS3 issue,or game issue?

I've had my PS3 lock up completely a few times since 2.2 release. Only about 3 times and I've been on it nonstop for several hours at a time for fate farming without an issue.

Twice today it's completely locked up on me though, once in the field, another in a dungeon.

I'm wondering, is this related to the issues currently happening with the game or is it a hardware issue on my end, as if my PS3 is crying out.

I don't play any other games, or haven't since 2.0 was released. And the unit itself was purchased about a month before that so it's not super old/used for several years type of thing.

Frustrations from losing out on things aside, I'd like to know if this is something I should just assume will correct itself or am I looking at a potential meltdown?

I had this problem with my Hybrid SSD aftermarket HD. Replacing stock HD fixed this some... though the lock up happened once or twice.

It's the game not your PS3. The game locks up plenty of times during a game session.

I've never had it lock up on me apart from being disconnected from the server. But nothing like it completely locking up my PC or anything.
