    SCH GEAR HELP!!

Ok so i took about 5 months off so i am playing catch up(working on 2.1 and 2.2 content). I am lvl 50 SCH and Avg i60. Other than the Raids Coil and CT what are the best duty finder to run. i have had great luck speed wise with Halatlia hm but didnt see any healer i70. can some one give me advice were i should spend my time to farm i70 gear? I have a very limited amount of time to play during the week maybe a hour a day which is why CT is out for me. Any help is apperciated.

CT takes about an hour, actually.

If you want i70 you'll have to run the level 50 dungeons and hope to get lucky enough to see a piece you want. Or you can buy the crafted Vanya gear, which should be relatively cheap on the Market Boards.

CT is less than an hour on average, especially with a healer's near instant queue. Truth be told you will have less pressure obtaining ilv 80 gear in CT than ilv 70 in the new HMs. Not that either are super difficult, CT is just very easy on healers as it stands. So it boils down to:

    - Farm CT, get ilv 80 gear, get myth and a little solidiery
    - Run new HMs, unlock expert roulette, hit soldiery cap week in and week out. Obtain filler ilv 70 gear while obtaining ilv90 and 100.

I believe 2.2 is the toughest patch to hit the currency cap on the top tome. Max you can get in one shot is 70 from roulette. Running 1 HM (outside of roulette) a day won't get you as far in gear progression as 1 CT a day with an ilv60 base. Eventually your time will be better spent in HMs

I recommend running CT with your hour a day until you get what you need out of the ilv80. After that transition to HM roulette for your one hour. It's either get higher end gear at a slower rate from solidiery in HM roulette or get mid range gear quick from CT.

thank you for you help! on the weekends i was planning on running CT i have a few hours there. As for buying crafting gear i am on Zalera and the MB is horrid Vanya is 100k a piece and thats the not HQ gear.

I am going to try coil tonight and see if i can squeeze it in. i can norm run two Halatlia HM in a hour and thats 80 tomes of Sol which is nice but drop wise it isnt. out of the 10 or so runs not one piece of healing gear droped(plenty of DPS) after researching i though that it didnt drop healer gear but i am pretty sure it does and i am just unlucky.

Personally in 2.2 I wouldn't spend a dime on crafted ilv70 and really I wouldn't be too worried about targeting Darklight gear in dungeon either. With the speed of obtaining Myth now and the weekly lockout on CT lifted the ilv70 stuff is outdated super fast. I would hate to see you spend that cash on ilv70 crafted to literally have it out of date in days.

I recommend CT as it gets you that set to do things like coil and extremes. Don't let CT discourage you because its a raid, it is one of the easiest instances in the game. You will have a bumpy ride at ilv60 in coil. I dare say coil 4 isn't doable at ilv60 in most pick up groups as healer unless your tank is super developed. You get an average tank in an average group and you will struggle to keep your tank up. I actually haven't done T4 in 2.2 though, i've been told it's a bit easier?

Anyways, if you are gonna get into coil T2 is a good idea. You will be meshed in with 2 other healers for a cheese mode strategy. You might get lucky and pick up a few free ilv90

It is actually not physically possible to do Coil as an i60, as the lowest ilvl requirement (for Turns 1 & 3) is i70. Like others have said, what you're gonna be doing is a lot of CT and a lot of Myth/Soldiery grinding.

both? not sure I understand. most myth gear was SCH BiS prioir to 2.2. Do the roulette for daily bonus. then grind out WP or BF.

Roulette is one method of grinding, so I don't really understand what you're asking. But use the roulette bonus once per day, then after that farm your favorite dungeon, or join a myth farming group if you can find one. Buying a few pieces of myth gear will help raise your ilevel enough to get into Coil, which is where you can get i90 gear for free as well as farming more myth. While farming myth, you will probably cap soldiery tomes anyway, and as you do, you can buy the i100 Weathered Daystar gear.
