Final Boss of Halatali Hard Mode escaping cage early

Was doing Halati Hard mode today, and Narasimha escaped his cage early and pretty much destroyed us. The little lalafell sorcerer guy did not escape the cage with him, just Narasimha. Look at screenshots.

Steps:
I don't know what steps caused this to happen. We were a minute into fighting the first group of mobs for that boss when Narasimha randomly came out and started attacking us.

I would also like to note, the DPS were able to kill all the first group mobs (THe ones that killing normally releases Narasimha), and the gate did open. When the gate opened, he ran back to it and 'came out' again, along with the little sorcerer lalafell.

Did you skip the cutsceen at the start of the fight while others did not? Just curious as this has happened only once to me as we'll, and that was the only time I was in that situation.
