    Atma is easy to get yes the idea of them dropping from something much funner like the monster ATMA himself is a good idea but as for right now they are easy to obtain once you put in enough work.

    I imagine he'll be a boss somewhere down this quest line, it'd be a waste if he wasn't (even in in FF6, the Atma Weapon was just a mistranslated Ultima Weapon).

    Define "enough". This is RNG, pure and simple. Hard work doesn't even matter here. For all SE care, a player can have very shitty luck and farm thousands of atma and never completed it. lol
