    Letter from the Producer, LVI (04/01/2014)

    Hello Fellow FFXIVers from all over the world

    Yoshi-P here

    Its April Fools event now, i asked the team to let every member become the producer himself so they test how being producer means

    anyway jokes aside, im going to discuss with you about the issues we have faced and the way our team has address them



    1- Regarding RMT spams


    we have established a new system to hold RMTs spams

    since RMTs are using Tells to communicate when players along with 3rd party programs to send multiple tells to multiple recipients in the same time while the normal player can send tell to 1 recipient at a time.

    the new system is targeted to catch those who send send multiple tells to multiple recipients in the same time and after confirming that they get blocked from the server by default and inability to send any tell for 3 days

    if 3 days passed and the account still doing the previous behavior the account gets banned by server default

    we will try to have the system ready by 2.25

    so please look forward it



    2- Regarding Instances Lag Caused by 2.2


    the team is working around the clock to identify the cause of the problem once we confirm the issue we will announce emergency maintenance

    and im really sorry for


    at this moment now i just defeated Titan Extreme was pretty fun fight more than the 16 bit fight hosted in the last live letter
