I'm with you on this. I still have no idea why SE feels that a level 1 dress for vanity should require as much work as the spring dress does.

Would it be better if SE make the dress level 50 so your class need to be level 50 before you can use the dress as vanity?
gear level don't need to reflect the recipe level.
