As others have said, it requires extensive skill in crafting to make, plus the ingredients are very rare - personally I thought SE was going to make these as event items because the concept art hinted at that. But alas...

It should also be noted its are for female characters only - there is currently no male equivalent, although the sailor costume would possibly be an equivalent, that can be worn by characters of both genders.

It's just an excuse to make people get his ilvl 70 tool/gear etc and "waste time" with the 3-star recipes. Like you said, is stupid to have this kind of requirement for VANITY gear.

If you know how to mix and match the spring skirt you'll love it.
The spring skirt offers the bottom part that can be seamlessly meshed together with other chest gear to create that casual look.
Combinations i tried were
-spring skirt ( dalamud red ) with hyur chamisette or something
( the level 1 starter female hyur top)
-spring skirt ( black ) with colosseum or cascade bikini top
With battlemage hat
-spring skirt ( black or shadow blue ) with doctore doublet top (black, shadow blue or grey )
-spring skirt (black or any colour )
With highland hamock top ( matching with skirt colour )
Just mix and match it and put the right hat / shoes and u'll look lovely.
I personally like using the cloche for some sets and the spring hat for others, somethimes i might use a felt beret or the coronal hat cuz i like flowers ! ^^

it's kinda sad to see what was suppose to be fluff content, a huge ass round about and then some.
the spring dress is 280k for me here in levithan that i checked a few hrs ago. not as bad hyperia's server
but i mean...it's a dress. not the end all be all of gear or anyting...pretty upsetting o-o

You only need 3 people to complete the peisteskins, tank, healer, and a dps. They aren't that tough. A lot of crafters on my server have been advertising they can craft them (for a fee of course), though i just had a friend make it for me. As for the rarity of the mats, I've seen 6 in 3-4 days, off only maybe 12 maps.

They are easy lol
The maps with only mobs spawning can be solo'd
The maps with a boss require 2 ppl
The maps with a boss with reinforcements require 1 of each role
( 3 ppl )
But the map with the chimera boss is the hard one. Chances are very grim if u stumble upon him unprepared
( no tanks, low dps ppl , no healers )
Impossible to complete if you don't have a sufficient party.
But yea there's a reason y it has a unique look compared to the other clothing ^^
We pay to obtain things commoners cannot
But smart ppl will pay their own price rather than just buy it for like a mill on the mb.
