No, but RANGER should. Since it's in tune with nature and all that jazz.
Yeah I would see it on Ranger if at all since if it was on ARC every classes (if they don't change that) could equip it. If it was on RNG only then it would be a more specialized ability.

why we have minimaps that tell us where the monsters are that be useless god i hate this minimap
I could see it as a ability that can be set only if a bow is equipped~ and give it like a 2min cool down timer or something, i was only thinking about it b/c looking for some NM's like goblin is annoying to run all the way to west side, to find that its not there, then have to run back to east side...

Oh noes, you didn't seem to realise FFXI had a minimap too, yet BST and RNG had widescan.. why? because it's helpful to find the mobs you need in a large area as opposed to the minimap showing some dots to represent the mobs standing next to you.
