    doing pharos sirius, and the dungeons music stopped 1 min into it

    The battle music keeps goin off and on like normal, but the dungeon theme itself (which sounded fuckin amazing btw) just stopped for me and hasnt come back even when zoning to the upper floors.

    Not the best first time experience due to this imo. The place is cool and all, but the music made it truly baller seeming (at first atleast).

    Is this a bug/known bug by chance for this dungeon to lose it's music? Does anyone know if this is being fixed soon?

    they started to loop dungeons music by 2.2

    any dungeon came before that wont loop

    Well that's really lame. Are there any plans to address that issue? Because yes that is infact an issue for those of us that actually care about the atmosphere of this game.

    Not gonna lie, since coming back in 2.2, the looping music and unique battle musics to dungeons has been a HUGE factor in my enjoying them. They really just feel so much more enjoyable and repeatable when you know there's amazing music in them that you just wanna go into for the sake of hearing it and feeling it add to your experience.

    Big props to SE for taking that step with 2.2, but here's to hoping they go retro active with this move and make the rest of the game feel just as amazing.

    Unfortunately, this has asked, begged, demanded on numerous occasions by the community. But they never complied to our request. Much to the displeasure of quite a lot of us. I was overjoyed when the new dungeons finally looped their music. Like someone said, it brings so more joy and satisfaction to run that dungeon on multiple occasions. (Especially The ruins of amdapor!)

    But yes, I wish that Pharos Sirius also had music loop... >_<

    The reason for this is because the older dungeons had music especially composed for those dungeons by Masayoshi Soken, who wanted the music to 'lead' into the dungeon, and not overpower the ambiance (thus the lack of background music after a few minutes). The latest dungeons though, from what I understand, actually loop because the tracks are not actually new tracks at all, but old tracks from version 1.0 that have returned, like Fury and Beneath Bloodied Banners (and composed by Nobuo Uematsu too no less), that were specifically designed to loop and not fade out.

    It's possible that this is an admission by Soken that the 'few minutes of music and then silence' has not been popular with fans, but you can't say that the development team don't listen.

    It's not a bug. The current Pharos Sirius track is only a minute and a half long and has a very defined beginning and end, so it can't be looped. They would have to go back and re-arrange/re-record the piece to make it loop.
