I suggest just letting the lava kill us instantly instead of a fall and making sure it is out or range of any raise.

That's pretty much how Leviathan is. The drop is small, but once you fall off you're done for the rest of the fight. Strange that nobody complains about falling off there compared to Titan...

Yes, the arena for Titan is massive. One of the biggest boss rooms in the game actually.
