Replacing the Music Files

First I would like to apologize to anybody clicking this thread hoping that I found out how to do this. :[

Anyway... I love the music in this game, I really do, but some of it isn't enough for me. I own a lot of Final Fantasy soundtracks and sometimes I'm going through the game wishing I could listen to older Final Fantasy music depending on what area I'm in.

For example I'd LOVE to change the song when in a normal battle, and especially the music that plays when you're fighting a dungeon boss. Something about it just doesn't feel right to me and I think it'd be awesome to The Extreme playing or something whenever I fight a dungeon boss.

I know that I can just go on youtube and play the song according on which area I'm in, but that just takes so much work. I've tried to go into the game's folder and find the music files, like I did when playing games such as Atlantica Online, but there aren't there.

Is it possible to ever consider doing this?

You can bet if/when they add addon support, something like this will be created fairly early on. Plenty of other games have had similar things made, so I don't see why it can't be done here.

I for one look forward to Twilight over Thanalan playing at night again like it should be anyways. I'd actually bring back a lot of the old 1.0 music, because if there's a shred of anything good about the original game, it was hands down the music.
