Atma and state of game

I have farmed FATEs for the Atma since day 1, 3 hours tops, to 1 hour everyday whenever i get the chance to, NOT A SINGLE ATMA.

I'll just run FATEs whenever i feel like it but I'll stop pursuing it nonstop. Just running something tedious for hours expecting something with the chance of it appearing is 1/20 (my assumption, not the actual drop) is just nerve shattering and soul breaking.

Im not gonna quit the game. I mean, you put HOURS into the game and then something appears that makes you go FTS and you just quit the game altogether, thats just childish and you probably had little to no interest to keep playing.

I rather take my chances with Second Coil and get the Allagan Tome for Masterworks. I'll do the atma everyday, im just not expecting it with zeal anymore.

Quite honestly, that has been my stance on it since the very beginning. I spent the first week-end clearing anything else I wanted (only have Levi Ex and Moogle Ex to go, then off to beat Twintania I go) and only started Atma farming for an hour tonight, to no avail.

And that's how I'll handle it. I'll do an hour of grinding or so more or less every day. Maybe it'll take me months, maybe it'll take me only two weeks. I really don't care. I still have 3 crafts to level, beastmean dailies to do, alt jobs to gear. I won't let some stupid mechanic that relies only on RNG (and quite frankly, nothing else at all) let me stop playing. ^^
