I wonder if they're waiting till the "rush" of the new content wears off instead of actually making attempts to alleviate the lag? That would really suck because then I'll start to wonder if every new patch will suffer the same issue at the start.

Yea, that would be the most stupid thing they can do, it's putting across a bad message to players if they can't sort this out, wait and see is not a good option, unless they want to lose a lot of subs.

You expect this kind of thing at launch or beta but not 6 months after, just add some more servers SE.
