I've experience it too lol to a point where i was cringing my face at how bad i looked for an i90 whm to the other players XD.
I was like qq i'm tryinggggg D:
But it got worse after the tank's emnity combos and damage mitigation skills failed to work when the tank needed them.
So his hp was dropping so fast and mobs were everywhere and were attacking everyone lol!
So i had to hope for the best and spam medica, cure 3 and medica 2 just cuz i couldn't afford to have anymore interuptions during my casts for individual targets.
We made it thru but not without a lot of pain and suffering
It was also so bad that during zone transitions (i.e the blue dotted line ), i was able to run past the line wait there a few secs and run back without switching zones. I just hit an invisible wall lol.

We are looking into this and are trying to look for a way to fix this.

A few days ago it was a 50% chance if the instance you were in was screwed by lag, now it seems almost 100%. Being a drg trying to combo is fun..

The best part is when you spam cure II screaming at your screen and after like 3-4 Cure II you see their hp move up a liiiil bit.

I don't have issues with skills going off but the teleporting drives me insane.

Before the patch the lag was contained within Arum Vale pretty much, but since they updated the servers it has spread everywhere.

I'm expecting an extended maintenance sometime this week.

It also seems to get a lot worse around US prime time which says it all really, they should just spend the money and give EU players their own datacentre.

wont help, the problem is the equipment is subpar for the latancy they chose for patch 2.2 on instances, they need to replace the subpar parts to fix this issue. a new datacentre will just have the same problems if they use crappy mainframes

I would like to say its cause coil has its own servers but I'm not sure of that since many of my friends are experiencing this lag in almost all instances
it could be you are getting lucky and getting into instances on fresh servers. no idea

my theory on how the DF servers work is they have so many instances on each server so for instance
say a DF server can do up to 100 instances. that server qill queue up till its full then tell the game to start on another till its full
ofcourse this could be wrong. but unless SE tells us the details its all we have to work with are theories

Because it comes and goes. Because there isn't just one big server with all the instances on, but lots of different servers with varying levels of load, and not all may experiencing problems at the same time. It's an RNG drop for instances. Just because some people haven't yet seen at Atma in hours of grinding, doesn't mean Atma doesn't exist.

But mostly as I mentioned above, it's because the Spiked Demon of Lag is cruel and enjoys seeding distrust and causing friction between players and so will always make sure that some people are spared.
