I can't tell you how refreshing it is to be doing open world content with lots of other players and for a reward other than gil or seals. Sure we had fate groups before, but seeing so many people all enjoying the content together (honestly I think most of the complaints are on the forums not in game) is awesome and I hope you concentrate more on this type of content going forward and maybe less of the instance stuff (as fun as it is). Maybe develop some other systems in addition to FATE's so people aren't put off by the name?

I've always had fond memories of the beta for this game, but until now I couldn't put my finger on why. Now I realise it's because back then there were no dungeons and everyone was out in the world playing together rather than just the 4 or 8 man dungeons we get together for now.

If I could make a suggestion for open world content you could add going forward: Maybe bring in fates based around gathering so all the gatherers can get together to achieve a goal within an allotted time, or maybe some kind of hamlet defence like in Guild Wars ( and FFXIV 1.0 i believe). Either way thanks and keep it coming!

This. The sad part is farming in the Processing Plant at 50 is more rewarding than every single one of these zones they actually chose. It's not even good fate farming. It's the sad pathetic b*****d child of fate grinding where I'm doing level 10 fates with an extremely small fraction of my abilities for all of 30-40 seals. The gear I'm wearing wears down so much that I loose money on repair bills. This wasn't thought through enough.

Healing doesn't give good FATE contribution. Healers want their Atmas too!

Also, nobody is enjoying this FATE crap. We're just doing it because we have to for the Relic upgrade. Everybody disappeared into dungeons when they were added because dungeons are actually somewhat fun, and FATEs are not.

I'm seriously wondering what kind of drugs people like the OP are on, or if they're just posting this stuff to troll.

I do that. Sorry, dear party members, but unless you're the main tank, the best way of getting gold is going around DoTing everything.

Didn't you know that you get credit for healing as well....? Dot on mob, heal whoever is playing tank in your party: Bam- Gold.

Most of the people you see enjoying the content probably aren't enjoying it.

It's an illusion of group play. No one talks, everyone just spams buttons like it doesn't even matter while being half asleep.

actually I am enjoy it and I have no problem with it. I farm fate since 2 days ago and got a few atma while talking and joke on mumble with my FC and static.

IMO, it is the player fault if they don't know how to enjoy the game.
