Yes, to an extent - it was worse until recently though - it seemed just about everyone at level 50 was either in Darklight gear or AF2, with only occasionally someone in Allagan or AF1. Now with more choices for gear and the vanity system in place, players are being more original when it comes to the gear they appear to be wearing.![]()
I dont know about that, I have been running roulettes a lot since the patch and I really dont see that many people using the Vanity System, at least not as many as I expected. Somewhere less than 10% of the random people I have encountered probably closer to 5%![]()
Check the prices of the prisms and you'll find out why ...
At least the ilvl 81+ prisms have a fine price. Can just Glamour some nice looking 81+ gear.
no matter the grade of the prism or the craft it costs :
1 clear prism (216 gil must be bought)
2 crystals
2 crafted material (means more mats and between 6-10 more shards)
So only raw materials must be around 500gil
Then you add the cost of gear usage (1 gil maybe) and the time (time is money and you cannot gain time back until time mage)
Aftewards you add more for your profit margin and also take in account the demand
I suppose prices will stabilize around 500-1000 gil in the future
On the other hand easier to have some gils every week with the weekly challenges so we will see more people using them
I don't have a problem with the pricing. Then again, doing the main scenario quests and challenge log, I get a ridiculous amount of money compared to how it was before 2.2, so I can afford paying about 2k gil per prism with no trouble.
