Hello again, to all of you FFXIVers out there! Yoshi-P (maybe?) here, bringing you my latest Letter from the Producer (did I forget the number?).

I am very glad you're all enjoying Patch 2.2, and hope you're also looking forward to the recently announced Favour system. Bayohne wouldn't stop hounding us for an opportunity to spend more time with Merlwyb...so glad to get that out in the open!

Welcome to the Official Forums very own Special Letter from the Producer featuring a number of familiar faces...well actually just one face, on everyone's posts!

For a limited time, you and everyone you know has the demeanor, the manner, the mode, and more importantly the name of our venerated Producer/Director Naoki Yoshida!

So now's your chance. Be the Producer you've always wanted to be by writing your very own Letter from the Producer below!

Keep in mind however, to curb those posts to always be in-line with the rules and spirit of the forum. Short of 'impersonating' an SE staff member, which you cannot completely avoid here, please be sure follow the example of Yoshi-P and keep it friendly (and within the rules).

Hello faithful players! Hope you're all enjoying 2.2 and doing those fates for 24 hours straight! We love to give you plenty of content to challenge you, and yes! it IS a challenge to find those skills you haven't used in months when you sync down! As you know we are avid readers of your posts on here, and love to browse through them, reading your suggestions. Unfortunately we have had a word with "those who shall not be named" and there's nothing they're willing to do about the hours and hours of frustrating FATE grinding for your relic....a bit of nasty medicine is good for you

You'll be glad to know that we've heard your cries and have decided to bring back the Hamlet Defense and Skirmish systems. Also, if you keep asking, we might reevaluate our position on abilities activating at the start of the animation.


I probably shouldn't be telling you this, but we have more than two and less than four new classes, as well as a variety of jobs planned to be released with the expansion.
