The first week of Soldiery tomes is about to end and I, like most people, will have already capped. But I don't know where I should begin with my upgrades.

At some point this week I'll be getting allagan belt, pants and book to get my SMN to i91, but should I cap tomes this coming week and purchase the weathered Evenstar body piece? Or wait until the week after and purchase the Weathered book of Spades first? Or should I forget both pieces for now and go for accessories first for accuracy?

You can't get the weathered book of spades without beating turn 7 and getting the unidentified allagan tomestone that drops there, so keep that in mind.

As along as you have more than 470+ of accuracy then you are fine for t6.

The clarify, the 470~ acc is what is needed for your pet. Someone parsed our first attempts at T6 and my accuracy was at 100% with the SMN acc cap from T5, but my pet's hit rate was at ~90% (very low).

I'm not sure if it still works this way, but remember that you can put on acc gear, summon your pet, and then change back to the acc cap YOU need. Your pet will still have the acc it had when you summoned it as long as it doesn't die during the fight (it shouldn't). Also remember that food does not affect pets, or at least it didn't before 2.2.

I'll probably wait to make my decision about which gear to buy after I see reliable numbers posted for acc cap (more than T6) and have a chance to glance at all allagan drops, where they're confirmed to drop from, and how the soldiery pieces compare.

Also, I read that if you use spur on garuda she will sync her stat again to the smn. So if you switched equipment and use spur then she is back at a low accuracy. I have not tested this.

Any buffs that affect gear related stats, so spur/fey light/fey glow/fey covenant, forces garuda to readjust her stats based on your current gear.

At 448 accuracy I've missed once out of thousands of hits in T6. So literally 99.99% hit rate there, probably missed a bee or something.
Garuda misses 2-5 times per attempt with at least 200+ casts per go, so like 98% hit rate in T6.

We're guessing 472ish for 7 and 8, dunno about 9 yet.
