Are the Artisan's Spectacles only better than the old Class Head (max melded) by 3 control??


Artisan's spectacles: 3 cp, 4 craftsmanship, 39 control. No slots? Shared by all DoH.

Weavers Gibbus: 3cp, 0 craftsmanship, 31 control. Melds +4 craftsmanship, +5 control.

Yes this is true. They are not a massive upgrade but with the new requirements for 3 Star crafting and the new difficulty, every little bit of, any stat really, is worth it to get closer to HQ.

Tbh I had all 8 hats capped long ago, but being 1 item not 8 is what did it for me, and a few CRT extra

I didn't mean it to come off as whiney, I just wanted to make sure before I decide what to do...

I was using patricians, then made the wvr set, and got the master book easier than exected, and now I'm thinking Alc is valuable, and really it's all about weighing the value of 1 head piece versus 8, and the stats associated... I just wanted to make sure I had the facts straight

Every bit of control counts for the 3 stars, more so the fewer HQ mats you start with. Saving space and looking better than half the AF hats are bonuses.

TIL that the Artisan's Spectacles are classed as Unique... so you can't get 8 of them to glamour with each job's respective head piece ;_;

you could glamour your patricians hat to it...
