Relic upgrade quest and what I rather do then FATEs for ATMA.

Part 1.

So before I start I'd like to go over some key points.

1a. Yes, I do know how to read - I know I have to have my zenith on to get ATMA.
2a. I've put in enough time to be reasonably upset about not getting any.
3a. It's more upsetting to see people get them and then have them say it's easy, quick or "not that bad" then not getting any at all.

With that said i'd like to say what I like about the upgrade process over all.
1b. I like the idea of the books and picking what stats I want to upgrade first.
2b. The many different objectives you need to do for the books.

Part 2.

My last points I like to talk about before going over what I rather do then fate grind are the things I dislike about the upgrade process.

1c. The cost of the books (1500 myth each) - Over all not that bad when you think about capping the 450 Soldiery.
2c. The random drop rates of ATMA - Too much luck is involved.
3c. There isn't a upgrade after getting your relic to ATMA - for the time some people get in there should be at least a slight increase of one stat even if it's a single point.
4c. The level of the fates for some ATMA is quite low, limiting the move sets of players.

Part 3.

Now for what I rather do then fate grind for ATMA

1d. Special hunts - "Boss like" hunting logs.
2d. Timed events - Duties for single players needing to be completed on a short time limit (if need be set difficulty to gear level)
3d. "Nude" events - More or less a duty where I only have my relic on. (No need to be nude, starter level 1 gear or statless gear is fine)
4d. If nothing new then I rather run 100 dungeons plain and simple.

Part 4.

Now if fates need to still be involved then there are a number of ways to make them more enjoyable

1e. Let players level other classes while doing fates.
2e. Set number of Fates - Do 10 or 50 or even 100 fates in a area to get a single ATMA. (something a player can keep track of)
3e. Let rank (ie gold, sliver, etc) up the drop rate.
4e. Group drops - Instead of letting some players in a group get them and other not, it'll drop for everyone. keeping it fair for all.

Take it or leave. I know that people wanted longer relic related quest but to go from a handful of needed runs (i80) to never knowing if your going to get what you need to just start the upgrade process (i100) is a bit much. Plus the longer it takes some people the more likely the chance of them giving up (On either the ATMA or the game) I know this all this isn't even a big deal to some but there is already enough work to do to upgrade and throwing in randomness isn't enjoyable for most.

Hell I'd rather have a quest that says to 1,000 FATES in every zone than this RNG crap. At least this way I can know how much longer I have to go before I get the upgrade.
