Aussie Player transfering over

So, I've recently gotten back into the game and most of my friends from America have more or less stopped playing, So looking for a server with a decent Oceanic population.

I did a bit of research and apparently Tonberry is the place to be if you are an Oceanic player.

Does this sound about right to you guys?

Recently coming from many years playing WoW I can say Tonberry has a great population of oceanic players although FFXIV seems to isolate us more with no general chat channel in the major cities like WoW had. I am from Perth myself and have been really pleased with the high level of FC's that operate on the +8 gmt timezone which I found lacked in WoW resulting in many transfers.

The FC I am part of <Kupo> has a mix of Australians, Asians and americans but mostly aussies from my conversations on teamspeak. Our recruitment thread should be somewhere on the first page of these forums. Send the GM a tell and i'm sure you will get an invite if you are interested.

Yeah Tonberry is where you want to be. Latency is better than it would be in the American servers and the time zone is shared, the average time zone is GMT+8 on Tonberry.
