new update,should i buy it now?

With this new update it seems that the game is more complete and enjoyable than ever and now for the first time since launch, i finally have enough time to devote to an mmo.

I'll propably buy this sometime this month but i'm just asking to see if this is reaaaaaaally worth the trouble

Also,will there be a discount now that this update is out?

Honestly, we can't answer as to whether to buy the game is worth it or not because we would be biased. Of course we would state that there's a lot of extra content that was entered in with the latest patch, most of which is high level content.

Patches generally don't equate to a discount being available so no, there isn't one. As for a free MMO that's the closest in terms of FF14...I would have to say Rift.

To be honest I know of no 'free' game that has so much forced-grouping as FF14, with so much content locked by it.

Basic features like a 'bank' and a mount cannot be obtained without grouping, to list but a couple of features, not the sort of thing 'free' players tend to tolerate.

lol i havent played for quite a while due to busy in real life.... since had some free time wanted to get back into ff14 but... 2 hour wait for titan HM in duty finder n rarely see any1 doin fate grinds for classes 30-40... dunno if my server has died (odin) or just wrong times but boring as atm since cant do anything i wanted to
