    Still I can't play the new dungeons. The lag is so heavy that they are completely unplayable for me. I really want to go and try the new dungeons but I can't. I tried Lost City of Amdapor and the lag was so terrible that I couldn't even use my skills orr move. I was teleporting from place to place the same happened to the rest of the party's members. I'm waiting an official announcement about this problem. Maybe they can't give us tomes for the lost time but 3 days free for each account wont hurt them. After all those days were kinda lost as I could not play the new content.

    I too had to give up running any dungeons. Most in my FC are affected by the lag. Many are getting stuck while teleporting too though. I'll see lag even while crafting (though of course it's not nearly as bad as in dungeons.)

    My experiences are probably like y'all's:
    - Rubberbanding. Party is frozen then 'teleports' to a distant point
    - DC symbol often
    - Using skills/spells but nothing happens
    - Out of aoe/Don't even see the monster attack, then dead.

    When we ran the new 4 man dungeons right after the patch hit, there wasn't a problem really. It didn't start until the day after. Is it because of the weekend? I live in the US and play on a JP server, so for me at least it's not a 'playing during prime time' issue.

    I will add something I've noticed... There are about 329k JP characters spread over 30 servers. The highest pop JP server is Tonberry (not actually majority JP) with 17k. There are 426k characters on the 23 NA servers and another 149k on just 7 "EU" servers. To compare, the lowest pop EU server is Moogle with also about 17k characters. (All numbers approximated based on stats from ffxivsoul.) Seems really damn unbalanced to me. I do not know how servers work, but if they merged some of the JP servers (a few have <4k characters) would this free up servers for instances and thereby help with this godawful lag?

    The JP data center is completely separate. Even the 7 EU flagged servers are isolated within the NA datacenter with their own DF cluster. You can see that each small datacenter cluster (Aether etc.) has a different number of servers. This is to balance the loads on each individual DF cluster. FYI the AV lag is due to room 1 spam. Player base is doing it to themselves.

    Really? I wouldn't have thought of that. If this is true, I'll just have to stop going there. I tried to heal it for my first time and kept freezing up trying to eat fruit. Everyone else kept getting hit including myself and we couldn't finish it, ran out of time on the last boss.

    A. Serious: The new 4-man dungeons have brutal lag that makes the last bosses of each one (except lolHalatali, which is lots of fun) almost undo-able because of how bad I'm lagging. However, I have faith everything will be remedied soon. There's soooo much to do!

    B. Sarcastic: It is my theory that SE purposefully screwed with the latency and combo lag in these dungeons to make all you damn PC players fell the pain of PS3 players before we all switch to PS4! Combos not registering? Getting hit by AEs you were out of? Players and mobs skipping around the rooms? Welcome to 70% of everything I do in this game!

    Lol. It was brutal. After the first couple tries I concentrated on watching everyone's placement because everyone who was eating was claiming they weren't anywhere near it and lo and behold they were right. Titan would do his cone attack, then turn back to me, the dragoon would reposition to flank him then suddenly shoot off at a right angle to the direction the cone was even in. That's how long it was taking for things to register. It was hopeless.

    I was surprised by the fact that I wasn't getting completely f*cked over when I finally got my Titan ex clear last night with my FC. Echo buffed, but damn the three people without clears finally got it. And yet in Brayflox HM and Lost City of Amdapor I've had multiple times where one second the tank is with me and the next the tank has essentially teleported on me and is with the mob. It's getting annoying.

    Edit: I've also noticed a -lot- of issues with CT since the patch. The death grip staying after Acheron is killed for one. The other being the lag so bad that people are essentially caged in the part right after the cutscene. No one dc'd or in loading screen anymore from what can be observed. Then people just drop out after several minutes of being stuck there.
