Atma book FATE "Giant Seps" is not part of normal FATE rotation, and will not being

I'm glad someone else got to this before I did, did as the rep suggested as well and jumped on my war to go help work out some other fates in the surrounding area hoping that it would help the fates cycle faster. Sadly with the majority of the playerbase out fate grinding in the main 3 regions, Coethras isn't getting the attention it used to. I'm also afraid of going too far from the fate to help them cycle and having it burnt through by the people camping the fate before I can get back to it. :\

It may be a bit more proactive on the XIV team's behalf to look at the Fates tied to the Books and increase their frequency giving the fact that the majority of the players currently in game are engaged in other areas of the world and aren't helping cycle them as normal.

SE please change this fate's respawn or change the fate that is used for this book.

I have been there 3 hrs 40 minutes and no spawn.

I will not accept this system as being legitimate, you must modify it so that it can be completed within 30 minutes without fail maximum.

This does not challenge a player. It challenges a player's patience and stupidity (i.e if you're stupid enough to actually do it).

We looked into this because of the reports we were receiving, but we confirmed that there are no special conditions that need to be triggered for this FATE to occur. However, there is a limit to the number of FATEs that can be active at the same time within an area. Therefore, if you are waiting for a specific FATE to occur, please try completing the other FATEs in the area.

In my opinion, this is the kind of transparency that would be HIGHLY useful for anyone who needs a FATE, and knowing what to pick apart to improve the system. They're an element of the game that we really have nothing but guesswork on. But just cycling through them to get one to spawn...? Most of the FATEs we have troubles with are largely overshadowed by beast tribe or quest FATES (like the Crystal Tower ones) that fill the holes immediately. It's a pretty extreme imbalance.

Imagine waiting on this 1 fate for 3 hours straight, then doing fates on the side as you wait....and people take down the fate before you get there...(4 hours)....then waiting another 4 hours and no spawn. With all the advice from people on how to spawn this, or to take down other fates while you wait...MAKES NO SENSE, because there will be others downing the fate before you get to it. Why am I waiting 8+ hours for 1 fate for 1 book out of 9 books for a weapon that is weaker then the one I am wearing. This fate should be readily available just as other fates are, or atleast not 8 HOURS wait time to get it. If there is a forced spawn, we should have this information. 8 Hours......8 Hours, I can understand 2, this has to be fixed. Imagine a new person just made 50 doing this, they will quit the game.

Can confirm, 3 years on, that this FATE still doesn't spawn as commonly as the others.

Probably worth looking into.
