no I was very much alive and kicking...I even had the target tagged!

well I waited over 4h for this pos fate, finally popped, completed it and the bastard didn't register in the book...like wtf!!!

I had the book, I had my atma weapon equipped, I was lvl synced, I participated, and got rewarded - 138 serpent seals and 48 gil

but I didn't get the usual popup like with the others wen u complete something in the chat window.

I submitted a ticket...this happen to anyone else???

I just had this happen to me with Enmity of the Enemy. I came in though at around 20% of the mob, I didn't get gold, only silver, not dead got seals and gil.

By design: you have to get gold on the book fate.

this is the way SE is saying "go help low level players to finish FATEs and your fate will pop"

Look, SE, you have done this on a number of occasions now. Do you really want us to stand in the same spot for hours? I'll go back when you fix it and not before. Three hours standing there.... I mean I'll do grinding if that's what you want me to do... I'd rather do 50 different FATE's then stand in one place for three hours and no pop. Please stop doing the waiting for one single Fate pop for hours and hours, it's kinda old now.

Happened to me with "Heroes of the 2nd". I spawned in the middle of it after completing a dungeon, time elapsed was about a minute, progress bar was about 90% and I could only get bronze, which didn't give me credit for my book.

So I waited for something like another 3 hours >.<

There seems to be one FATE that has a timer.. .so at least and hour and half, dependent on area fates....SEP at 50 you will need to level sync.. I am having trouble with Everything's Better..it doesn't appear to have level syn.. I participated but didn't get book update....and now will likely have to wait at least an hour and half.. I am sure SE has set at least one of the book FATE requirements on a long timer....and if you aren't in a group.. for some reason and there are a few people... you must get gold I think....

So,

1 Timer
2. Get gold
3 Level syc if necessary
4. of course have your weapon equipped...

I haven't camped like this since EQ and Stormfeather in Iceclad...!!

Update.. respawn at 1 hour and 4 mins......AoE ftw!!

3 1/2 hrs myself same Everything's Better, there is now a crowd waiting and an Atma farming group going so they are clearing all the other ones as soon as they spawn or shortly after.
