The devs said you'll eventually be able to choose the stats on your relic. So no, that may not be the case for the Animus. If I can stack crit on my SCH Animus, I'm going to be using that until I get the new allagan weapon.

My point was that Classes cannot use Relics, only Jobs can.

Sort of . I'm not fond of Job only gear when there's no counterpart, like there was in 1.0.

Second part of the relic quest, the one with the books, is that people wanted.

People hated fate for leveling. They hated it for CT access. Why would the freacking like them NOW?

They didn't have to FATE to level... It was their own choice...
When 2.1 came along, the same people started complaining that FATE was not efficient for levelling any more...
I don't see that as an indicator of hating FATEs...

Unfortunately, there isn't THAT much else for some of us to play. I personally am stuck on turn 4 (and surely turn 5 after that) and Titan EX, which kinda locks out a good chunk of the stuff that was added (including alternate paths for weaponry). All I can do is keep grinding myths until Echo buff hits coil and/or I happen on some miracle group that can actually beat those things.
