    The majority of the body gear I've seen so far seem to be mostly from the last boss of the dungeons.

    Seems what confuses people is that instead of each chest having its own loot table, the chests in the new dungeons all share the loot table... meaning you can end up with crafting mats from the boss chests and gear from the chests outside...
    This helps prevent in-progress spamming from people that are only interested in a chest at the end...

    I expect next stage of the crystal tower to adopt this model too for the same reason...

    Crafting mats competing with proper gear drops and even DL competing with the unique gear drops remind me of FFXI: Voidwatch style loot tables where you have so much crap stuffed in there. Wish they kept loot tables like Brayflox Normal so you're at least guaranteed to see something intriguing at the very least for the last boss kill.

    Yeah, exactly, or at least make the final boss chest share the equipment table, it's ridiculous after fightning diabolos or any final boss just to get 1 mat of a random kind.
