    Letters in Tooltip

    Hi,

    I see foes running around with the leters A and H in their tt.
    2 expamples:
    lvl 28 A Shroud Hare
    lvl 28 H Shroud Hare

    What does these letters mean?

    Almost nothing. Each monster is just assigned a letter.

    Theoretically, it could be useful for telling one monster apart from another (e.g., in a party). In practice, you can pretty much just ignore it. (In parties, when it really matters, marks are a lot more visible anyway, and any other time, it doesn't really matter.)

    It's just a way of listing multiple targets with the same name apart - it's an old idea from past FF games.

    The mob letering starts at A and circles all the way down to Z and then restart from A again. Some groups use it to determine at which order to kill mobs in parties instead of marking it manually.
