As in, make a spring dress, make my BLM have the spring dress, then sell the spring dress?
Just wondering if there's something/what's stopping me passing the vanity stff round my FC to glamour it onto whatever people want.

It does seem that way. Once you save the appearance of a glamour item onto the base item, the glamour item is no longer needed for that glamour to be in effect.
You can't. Once you cast the glamour, the appearance item (your spring dress) will become bound to you, so you can't sell it anymore.
Could you turn your dps gear into a crafting gear? and how does this glamour work? left side your main gear and to change look left side? I don't want to mess up
No. You cannot glamour a weapon to look like a crafting tool. Crafting tools are usable only by that specific crafting class, and glamours require that your current class be able to equip the glamoured item.
