Not sure how to handle the new player hate.

I really hate reading something like this...

People who abuse others for no reason, especially if the blame is actually on them. I've been blamed before at lower levels, and nearly lost my confidence on WHM (considering I played it very frequently in 1.0, this is a major blow) when a tank who had low equipment kept blaming me for not being able to keep up (especially after running into mobs without a single protect or stoneskin before I had the opportunity to do anything). At first I relied only on my friends. I swore off DF for a good while, but gained my confidence back as a dragoon and a paladin. I know the pain you're going through, and I wish I could seriously take you into the FC I am in, because I like to help those that really can't get a party or always hated on. People don't even give five minutes to explain a battle and instead prefer to wipe and rage quit, earning them potentially 30 minutes of lockout. So inevitably, it'd waste more time.

Anyway, keep either searching for an FC or create a friendly LS even. If worst comes to worst, create your own FC and advertise it as newbie friendly. If worst comes to worst comes to worst, I'd agree with others and say that you should just move servers. There will be people who would gladly lend a hand out.

Promise! Just don't let those that are toxic ruin your game. Honestly, I feel that the community makes an MMO, and there are seriously some nice people out there. If we ever cross paths, I'd be glad to help you.
