I hit 50 just before the patch hit. I started spamming dungeons to gear up my Blm hoping to have a reasonably good time in the process. Sadly this has been no where near the case.

I will only queue for dungeons I've either done or watched a guide for. My rotation is pretty simple and I am fairly sure that my error count is minimal. So far I've made a few mistakes while learning but, I've managed to down everything I've gone into so far that people won't bail on the first failed attempt.

The big problem I am having is that people don't want me there before we've started or gone very far into trash. The comments aren't that I suck or don't know what I am doing. It's entirely that my gear isn't good enough. This is while I'm at 62 in 48-55 requirement dungeons with food and pots. I've been blamed for a lot of other peoples mistakes so far because it's so easy to just point at my gear and say I'm holding them back.


I cleared Brayflox HM the first time with no complaints and even managed an upgrade from the run. I try to run it again and am immediately hit with the passive aggressive fake mt trash talk about my gear and hp.

This has happened quite literally every other dungeon so far in over dozen attempts since last night. How do people expect me to gear or get better when even in the dungeons I'm well over the listed requirements of, people make sure I know I'm not wanted or am the source of all their woes?

I've been through a lot of MMOs over the years and have never seen anything close to this level of dislike of new players. People are either rude and very negative or completely silent. No one seems to be able to tell me what else I am supposed to be doing though. I haven't seen any coloring books and comfortable looking corners where I can earn gear without doing the actual content.

Am I missing something? Any one have any idea what people with this mind set think I am supposed to be doing? It's been one hell of a demotivating experience since I hit 50.
