It might be my blind infatuation with anything "Hildy" but I kinda like this idea! :3 I'm not 100% sure how it could be made a profession, but maybe a side quest/reputation thing like the beast tribes? Gain reputation solving mysteries and unlock greater rewards! Become the (second) greatest Inspector in all of Eorzea! Yay!
