ATMA is the least rewarding system you could have designed.

You opened up what looks to be a significant portion of our character's advancement and then handcuffed it to a system solely based on RNG with no Maximum investment required to complete.

Some of the population is going to think ATMA farming wasn't that bad because they got their drops very quickly. They are still going to think the system was uninspired and added nothing positive to their experience.

Some of the population is going to think ATMA farming was pretty bad but overall they put in enough effort and go a couple a day and so they can put this pile of garbage behind them.

And then some people will do many times more FATES than first two groups of people and get fed up that you intentionally made fickle system that rewarded random chance and has no guaranteed end, regardless of how much effort and time they put in.



You will lose players if you make us do this again. You have legitimately burned confidence in yourself and your game with this system. The only thing you had to do was give us an end that we could be sure of and we would have ground out the maximum required 50 or even 100 FATES in each zone. We would have complained significantly less. Add a guaranteed end to your upgrade systems. You will retain your fan base and their confidence in your ability to create enjoyable content that is worth them paying you a monthly fee and they will happily continue to do so.


I can't keep badmouthing other MMOs and games to my friends in an attempt to attract them to your game if you make it so that I'm bad mouthing your game.
