I miss non-instanced content that felt rewarding and zones in the open world that you would still die in at 75.

I miss that and more... but would rather prefer the game progressed as it already does. Nostalgia doesn't a better game make, after all, and can often hurt more than help.
I think the word Nostalgia is over used it a type of gameplay style that may not be enjoyed by everyone
